I can't believe it's already November! Okay, I can't be the only one who's thinking it... One marking period closer to summer! :)
I also get married at the verrrrrry end of the month, so I'll no doubt spend ALL of November thinking about the big day!
Moving along...
I'm listening to Sunday Night Football, watching intermittently, but mostly working on my computer on some school plans.
I'm LOVING this whole interactive notebook thing. We used a fabulous one that I found that week to learn all about nouns {singular, plural, proper, common, possessive} & the kiddos LOVED it, too! They were so excited to paste the headings into their notebooks and then record or research information to include. And early finishers got to decorate their pages, which was always an easy & exciting incentive.
So, I'm officially on the notebooking train!
I just finished typing up this one for our Insects Unit
I am always thinking that I have the BEST fiance in the world, but especially on weekends like this one.
Saturday morning, while I was busy running & working out, he went and did all of the grocery shopping, then made me a delicious breakfast. And all day today, he let me drag him around the mall, cooked dinner, cleaned up, washed & folded all of the laundry {I swear I'm not taking advantage - I was busy, too, haha}!
I wish I could have worked on my report cards today, but I didn't bring my work computer & just realized that I cannot access my report cards from my home computer... so I made some insects fun {above} instead.
Having an extra hour this weekend will not seem as fun when it's dark by the time I leave work this week, BUT I did enjoy waking up and having an extra hour in my day to accomplish things {not that I accomplished a whole lot more}.
And this Big Mac Salad just looks amazingly delicious.
Happy November!
Congratulations on your big day! I just took photographs of a friend who is getting married in March...and even put it in my Currently. I'm in Arizona, so we don't have to deal with DST, but whenever anyone else talks about gaining that extra hour, I do get a little jealous. It' worth not dealing with being thrown off though. :-)
